Springville Community Awareness - "SCA"
HOPE - UNITE  - HELP - COMMUNICATE - EDUCATE

Springville Community Awareness’ (SCA) desire and goal is to: Opening the lines of communication between the residents of Springville and local law enforcement officers/personnel and agencies: To unite the community of Springville and surrounding areas in preventing crime in order to make Springville a safe, friendly, enjoyable community in which to: live, thrive, work and flourish in: Apprise residents of activities, opportunities and services within Springville: And ways in which residents can volunteer their; time, talents, skills and abilities.

SCA believes in the Neighborhood Watch concept, namely a crime prevention program that incorporates citizen involvement and address the increasing number of burglaries and crimes taking place especially in rural and suburban areas: Promotes the establishment of ongoing local neighborhood watch groups that encourage citizens to partner with their local law enforcement agencies in an effort to reduce various types of “neighborhood crimes:” and encourages groups in participating in community cleanups and other activities that strive to improve the quality of life for community residents.

SCA strongly encourages residents to report “suspicious:” activity, vehicles, individuals, etc., to local law enforcement agencies and let them research the matter and take the appropriate action.

"SCA" IS NOT . . .
"SCA" is not a vigilante force working outside the normal procedures of the local law enforcement agencies.
